Manish Chaturvedi
Born on August 4, 1971, in Jaipur, India, Manish Chaturvedi was raised in a nurturing family environment, alongside his parents and older brother. His father, Som Chaturvedi, worked in the railway sector, igniting Manish's lifelong passion for trains. The family later moved to New Delhi, where Manish pursued higher education, completing his Bachelor of Arts at Sri Venkateshwara College, followed by an MBA from the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad.
Manish's professional journey was marked by over 25 years at Coca-Cola, where he ascended through the ranks to hold pivotal roles as Country Manager in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea, and later as Franchise & Commercial Director in the Philippines. He returned to India as a senior director, contributing significantly to the company's growth and outreach.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Manish was an adventurer at heart, having explored over 50 countries. His adventures ranged from scuba diving in shipwrecks in Papua New Guinea to skydiving in New Zealand and engaging in desert safaris in South Africa. Despite his global travels, he remained a family-oriented man, deeply valuing the time spent with loved ones and cherishing his roles as a father and husband.
His commitment to education was evident through his involvement with the Overseas School of Colombo, where he served on the Board while his children attended elementary school. This experience deepened his passion for educational initiatives, inspiring him to envision a school that would serve underprivileged communities.
In 2021, Manish purchased land in Ranchi, captivated by its natural beauty and the potential to contribute positively to the local community. The Manish Chaturvedi Teaching Academy stands as a testament to his vision, offering quality education in a region that marries the serene landscapes he loved with the community service he valued.
Manish Chaturvedi's legacy continues through the lives he touched and the institution he inspired, ensuring that his values of kindness, adventure, and educational empowerment are instilled in future generations.
